About Us

Mario is an international business and tax advisor with more than 20 years of experience serving both domestic and international business and high-net worth clients and their families.  Mario has a master’s in taxation from The University of Texas at Austin.  Professionally, Mario worked for the best of the big 4 international public accounting firms out of Houston, Texas.  After his big 4 experience, Mario worked in industry for multinational corporation where he learned the client side of the accounting, tax, and other important business functions of a publicly traded company.  In addition to working with large companies, Mario led the international tax department of a middle-market CPA firm while helping their growth in the Texas markets.  

Mario’s experience includes U.S. and international corporate business entities, established and start-up business enterprises, high-net worth families and their businesses, and private equity owned portfolio companies.  

Mario has served businesses from many business sectors and industries, including upstream and midstream oil and gas, oil field services and technologies, wind energy and equipment, utilities, equipment manufacturers, industrial services, agricultural products, food processing and distribution, hospitality, transportation, software and technology, and among many others.

Mario is a passionate entrepreneur whose hunger for learning and thanks to the relationships he’s forged along the way has made him a valuable business advisor. 

If he’s not in the office, Mario is with his wife (Sandra) and his three kids (Mariana, Diego, and Andrea) at dinner somewhere, at a movie, at a sporting event, and visiting new places.  Mario loves his family very much and only after God or the father of all of us.
